After 25 years as a founder-owner and consultant for a small business in the computer technology and networking industry, Harry Strharsky retired, as they say, 'to pursue other interests.' One of those interests was a return to his love of photography.

In the mid-seventies he built a black-and-white photo lab to develop pictures of his first-born son and to document political activities in Washington, D.C. Serious photography was put aside for the next 30 years to raise a family and build a business in Northern California.

Harry Strharsky moved from California to Colorado and immediately began to improve his landscape photography skills in 2006. He joined in the formation of the Fort Collins Digital Camera Club (FCDCC) and served as its second President. Criticism and encouragement from club members have made him a better photographer.

Having spent a few decades of daylight in windowless, air-conditioned data centers and server closets, monthly photographic outings in and around the Rocky Mountains became a much anticipated 'return to nature' and an opportunity 'to stop and smell the roses.' Improved landscape, nature and wildlife photography followed rigorous discipline and repetition. This website was built to be a Northern Colorado showcase.
